Drawing on professional experience acquired since the 1970s, in 1989 Paolo Centore founded the partnership calling upon some of the best students he had encountered when teaching various postgraduate courses.
The new firm structure allows for the further development and diversification of the legal services that can be offered to Italian and foreign clients

In the early 1990s, PC&A set up specialist internal units, so as to offer a comprehensive service designed to better meet client requirements.
Whilst maintaining tax law and practice, PC&A now also works in the field of civil law, with specific reference to national and international contracts, company law, corporate crime and regulatory compliance (especially in civil and tax matters).

In the mid 1990s, drawing on experience accumulated over three years (from 1994 to 1997) as a tax consultant with DG XXI of the European Commissions (Brussels), PC&A decided to enhance its range of legal services by setting up a new research unit to ensure that the firm would constantly keep abreast with the latest regulatory developments and how they are construed by the national and Community courts. The research unit is currently staffed by young post-graduates interested in further developing their specialist knowledge as a launching pad for their professional careers.
